College & stuff
I'm a student at the Pennsylvania State University majoring in Electro-mechanical
Engineering. As a result of my employment at the Altoona CLRC (Computer
Center) and Engineering Department, I have done a fair amount of work with
computers and networking, especially with WIndows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows
95, and limited exposure to WIndows NT 4.0 Server and Linux (Red Hat 7.2?).
Hardware-wise, I've installed and trouble-shot lots of things (keeping
the list short): internal and external drives, networking, video, sound,
etc. This is all present in my resume.
Just Me!
As for me, what I like to do, what I would like to do, and what I can leagally
call mine, here goes.... I drive a 1986 VW Vanagon Syncro (The
best non-boasting AWD van of it's time, and arguabley still is!), I used
to drive a 1980 Dodge Aspen (otherwise referred to a pain in the A**pen),
I ride a 1979 Honda CM200T "Twinstar" (a really good little bike, I must
say...), I do a small amount of work with preparing and loading firearm
casings (especially 30-30 Winchester and 300 H&H Magnum), and once
in a while, I'll break out the transit and turn an angle or two between
some mountains, towers, or anything acting as a sizeable landmark.
Where I am is where
I am....
Where I call home, is in the mountains of South-Central Pennsylvania, near
such towns as Bakers Summit (population: 30), New Enterprise (population:
maybe 600), Lafyetteville (population: 20), and Altoona (population: 50,000).
The mountains I call home are the Dunning Mountain ridge, adjacent to Blue
Knob (the second highest point in Pennsylvania!).
Well, that's enough about me. If anything really strikes 'ya, e-mail me! [email protected]
